Niagara Region co-hosts tree health workshop

August is Tree Check Month and Niagara Region, in partnership with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, is co-hosting a free tree check event to teach residents how to keep their trees and greenspaces healthy. A public demonstration will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 18, from 1 to 3 p.m., at the main entrance pavilion at the Glenridge Quarry Naturalization site (1860 Sir Isaac Brock Way, Thorold). Parking is available on site. Registration is not required. Residents will get tips for checking trees
